Sharing someone's intimate images without their consent is a serious violation of our Community Guidelines, and in many places it is a crime. We take every request seriously, and we don't ask you to explain yourself beyond what we need to find the content.
Who can ask
- The person shown in the image or video, or
- Someone authorized to act on that person's behalf (for example, a parent of an adult who needs help, a lawyer or an advocate).
What we need from you
Our form asks for the information the law describes for a valid removal request [ATTORNEY: confirm against Section 3 of the TAKE IT DOWN Act]:
- Your signature. Typing your full name in the form counts as your electronic signature.
- Where the content is. A link to each photo, video or profile on My420Love, or a description detailed enough for us to find it (for example, "the third photo on the profile of a member named Sam in Las Vegas").
- A brief statement that you have a good-faith belief the image was shared without the consent of the person shown, and that you are that person or authorized to act for them.
- How to reach you, so we can tell you when it's done.
Please don't upload or send us the image itself. A link or a short description is enough.
What happens next
- Right away: the photos and videos you link to are hidden from every member while we review your request. You get a request number by email.
- Within 48 hours: our team reviews the request and removes the content. We also search our members' photos and videos for identical and near-identical copies (using image fingerprints) and remove those too.
- To stop it coming back: we add the image's fingerprint to our block list, so the same image can't be uploaded again.
- About the member who posted it: sharing intimate images without consent leads to immediate account closure under our Community Guidelines.
We keep a limited record of your request and what we did about it, as the law requires.
If the image shows someone under 18
Do not send it to us, and do not share it with anyone. Report it directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children:
- CyberTipline: report.cybertip.org
- Phone: 1-800-843-5678
If you tell us about such content, we preserve the evidence, remove it and report it to NCMEC as the law requires.
More help
- StopNCII.org can help adults protect intimate images across many platforms at once: stopncii.org.
- Cyber Civil Rights Initiative crisis helpline: 844-878-2274 [ATTORNEY or advocate: confirm the number before launch].
- If you're in immediate danger, call 911.
Please use this process honestly
Takedown requests are reviewed by people. Knowingly false requests hurt real members and may lead to the closure of the requester's own account.
