My420Love™ is operated by [Legal business name] ("My420Love," "we," "us"). We respect the rights of creators, and we expect our members to do the same. This policy explains how we respond to claims of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512 (the "DMCA"), for my420love.com and meetyourmaryjane.com.
[ATTORNEY: confirm the service list and the domains covered by the designated-agent registration.]
Our designated copyright agent
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to our designated agent:
- Name: Copyright Agent, [Legal business name]
- Mailing address: [Business mailing address]
- Email: copyright@my420love.com
- Phone: [Agent phone number]
You can also use the form on this page. It sends the same information to the same agent.
[DAWN: register the designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office (the fee is $6) and renew it every 3 years. Without a current registration there is no safe harbor.]
How to send a copyright notice
A notice must be in writing and include all of the following (17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3)):
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name in our form counts as an electronic signature).
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed (for example, "a photo I took of myself, first posted on my own account in May 2026").
- A description of the material on My420Love that you believe infringes, with enough detail for us to find it. A link to the profile, photo or page is best.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
A notice that is missing these elements may not be valid, and we may ask you to complete it before we act.
What happens after we receive a notice
- We review every notice and, when it is valid, we remove the material or disable access to it expeditiously.
- We tell the member who posted it, and we give them a copy of the notice so they can respond. The copy may include the name and contact details you give us.
- We record the notice in our internal log, together with what we did about it.
Counter-notices
If you believe your content was removed because of a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent. It must include (17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3)):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which My420Love may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
When we receive a valid counter-notice, we send a copy to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to stop the infringement, we restore the material within 10 to 14 business days after we received the counter-notice.
Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of members who repeatedly infringe copyrights. As a rule, a member whose content is the subject of three valid notices loses their account, and we may act sooner in serious cases. A notice that is later withdrawn, or overturned by a valid counter-notice, does not count.
Please don't misuse this process
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney's fees. If you're not sure whether your work is protected or whether a use is allowed, please talk to a lawyer first.

Intimate images are handled separately
If someone posted an intimate image of you without your consent, please don't use this form. Use our intimate image takedown form instead: it is faster, it hides the content right away, and it needs no copyright claim.
