Be 21+. Be real. Be kind. Respect a no.

No selling (cannabis or anything else), no soliciting, no scams, no hate, nothing explicit, and nothing involving anyone under 21.

These rules apply everywhere on My420Love™, and at events and on dates with people you met here.

The vibe

My420Love is for cannabis-friendly adults looking for love, friendship or a little of both. It's upscale, romantic and judgment-free, whether you enjoy cannabis every day, once in a while, or you're just canna-curious. The first move here is kind: we lead with compliments, not critiques.

These Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. When in doubt, ask yourself: would I be proud of this on a first date?

Be real

• 21 or older, always. Your age on My420Love has to be your real age.
• One account, and it's you. No duplicate accounts, no shared accounts and no profiles for someone else.
• Real, recent photos. Your photos should look like you today, and your first photo has to show your face clearly.
• No catfishing or impersonation. Don't pretend to be someone else, including a celebrity, a business or another member.
• Be honest about what you want. Smokin' Hot Match, Smokin' Buddy or Open to both: pick what's true, so everyone's time is well spent.

Be kind

• Compliments first. Say something genuine about someone's personality, vibe, smile and style, accomplishments or kindness.
• No harassment. No insults, bullying, threats, intimidation or stalking, and no repeated messages to someone who hasn't replied or has said no.
• No hate. No attacks or slurs based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or any other part of who someone is.
• No body shaming or backhanded compliments. Keep Smile & Style about smiles and style.
• Respect a no. "Not for me" is a complete answer. Don't argue, don't keep trying, and never try to reach someone again through another account or somewhere else.
• Every pace is welcome. Members who rarely or never consume cannabis belong here too.

Consent is everything, online and offline

• Ask, don't assume. Consent has to be clear, freely given and ongoing, and anyone can change their mind at any time.
• Impairment matters. Someone who is too impaired to make clear decisions can't give consent.
• No unsolicited sexual messages or images.
• No pressure. Don't pressure anyone to consume cannabis or alcohol, to meet, to share contact details or to move off My420Love.

Engaging in sexual conduct with another person without their consent violates this policy and the criminal law. We permanently remove anyone who does, and we cooperate with law enforcement.

Keep it sexy, not explicit

Flirting is welcome. Explicit isn't. No nudity, sexual acts or sexually explicit photos, videos or text anywhere on My420Love, including private messages. If the first messages in a conversation get explicit, we'll suggest a rephrase.

Photo and video rules

A person on our team reviews every photo, video and verification selfie before anyone else sees it, usually within a few hours. Here's what we look for:

• Your main photo is all you. Your first photo must clearly show your face, and it has to be you.
• Cannabis is a supporting character, never the star. Cannabis may appear tastefully in your other photos, but never in your main photo and never as the subject of any photo. No product close-ups, jars, scales, bagged product, menus or price tags.
• Children. No photos where a child is the focus, and no children in any photo that includes cannabis.
• Nothing explicit. No nudity, no sexual poses, and no photos where underwear or swimwear is the focus.
• No selling. No contact details, social media handles, QR codes, ads or business logos.
• Nothing violent or hateful. No weapons, violence or hate symbols.
• Protect your privacy. We decline photos that show house numbers, license plates, badges or other identifying details.
• Keep it clear. No heavy filters, memes, screenshots or photos of celebrities.
• Other people. Only include other people if they've agreed, and make sure it's obvious which one is you.
• Videos are recorded in the app, last up to 30 seconds, and follow the same rules.

If we decline a photo or video, we'll tell you why, and you can try again.

No buying, selling or supplying cannabis. Ever.

My420Love is for connection, not commerce. You can share how you enjoy cannabis on your profile. You can never use My420Love to buy, sell, trade, deliver, supply, price, source or advertise cannabis or any other drug, whether for money, for a "donation" or as a trade.

That includes "plugs," menus, prices, delivery offers and dispensary promotions. Our filters stop messages that look like sales, and repeated attempts get your account closed.

No commercial sex, "arrangements" or paying for dating

No escorting, prostitution, "sugar" arrangements, "generous" offers, allowances, pay-per-date, or selling access to content or to yourself. Nothing of value should ever be exchanged for dating, companionship or intimacy. Accounts that offer or ask for any of this are removed immediately.

No selling anything else, either

No advertising, promo codes, multi-level marketing, crypto or investment pitches, fundraising or recruiting. No bots, and no copy-and-paste messages sent to lots of people. If you're a business that wants to reach our members, visit our For businesses page instead.

No money requests, no scams

Never ask another member for money, gift cards, crypto, loans, investments, fees or financial details, whatever the story. Scammers are banned permanently, and we warn the members who exchanged messages with them. Learn how to spot a scam.

Respect privacy

• No doxxing. Don't share anyone's full name, address, workplace, phone number or other personal details without their permission.
• What's shared here stays here. Don't share another member's messages or photos outside My420Love to shame or expose them.
• Never share intimate images without consent. That includes fake or AI-generated images. It gets you banned immediately and permanently. Anyone can ask us to remove images like this with our takedown form, and we act within 48 hours.
• Don't out anyone. Someone's orientation, gender identity or cannabis use is theirs to share.
• At events, ask before you photograph or film anyone.

Nobody under 21

My420Love is only for adults 21 and over. If you think a member is under 21, report them and choose "Might be under 21." We hide the profile right away while we review it. Any content that sexualizes a minor is removed, the account is banned, and we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement.

Cannabis, safely and legally

• Only where it's legal for adults 21 and over, and never in public where that's against the law.
• Never drive impaired, and never encourage anyone else to.
• Never pressure anyone to consume, and respect "no, thanks."
• No health or medical claims. Nobody here is giving medical advice.

Offline behavior counts

These Guidelines apply at My420Love events, at events from our family of brands, and on dates with people you met here. We may act on reports of what happens offline, including permanently banning someone, even if it didn't happen in the app.

At events, you must be 21 or older with a valid government ID, follow the venue's rules and staff, and consume cannabis only at venues licensed for it.

Other things we don't allow

• Anything illegal.
• Threats of violence, or promoting violence or weapons.
• Content that infringes someone's copyright or other rights.
• Automated tools, scraping, or trying to get around limits, blocks or bans.
• False reports meant to get someone in trouble.

How reports work

• Report from anywhere. Every profile, message, compliment, love story and event guest list has Report and Block, no more than two taps away. Reporting blocks the person too, unless you choose otherwise.
• Tell us what happened. Choose the reason that fits best, from "Might be under 21" to "Something happened on a date," and add details if you'd like.
• They won't know it was you. We never tell anyone who reported them.
• The most serious reports come first. If someone might be under 21, has made threats or been violent, if something happened on a date, or if intimate images were shared without consent, we hide the profile or content right away and aim to review it within 24 hours. We also aim to review scams, sales and solicitation within 24 hours, and everything else within 72 hours.
• Patterns matter. If three different members report the same person within 7 days, we hide that profile until we've reviewed it.
• We'll follow up. When we've taken action on your report, we'll let you know. To protect everyone's privacy, we don't share the details.

What happens when someone breaks the rules

We look at what happened, how serious it was and the member's history. Depending on that, we may:

1. remove the content or hold it for review;
2. send a warning;
3. limit features or hold messages for review;
4. suspend the account; or
5. ban the account permanently.

Some things mean an immediate, permanent ban with no warning: being under 21, anything that sexualizes a minor, threats or violence, sexual conduct without consent, sharing intimate images without consent, commercial sex or solicitation, scams and fraud, repeated attempts to buy or sell cannabis or other drugs, and coming back after a ban.

When we remove someone for fraud, we notify the members who exchanged messages with them, so they can protect themselves.

Appeals. If we take action on your account, we'll tell you the reason and how to appeal. You can appeal each action once, in up to 1,000 characters. A different member of our team than the one who made the decision reviews it within 7 days, and we email you the result.

Disputing a charge with your bank never, by itself, gets you suspended or banned.
